Yup. Thats what I did. Had a couple of my buddies cooking jambalaya and pulled pork with a couple of kegs. The venue was a family friend's horse barn. We kept it small so there wasn't a lot of small talk with random people we didnt really know well. Think it cost us $2k.

Weddings are ridiculously expensive so this seems like a fun alternative.
The Taco Bell wedding for $777 in Vegas is even better, though. It includes a hot sauce packet bouquet, a box of tacos, and a wedding toast with a Baja Blast.

With how expensive weddings are, I think it's a very very smart decision actually.

Very smart. Two of the biggest wastes of money in life are associated with marriage. The ring and the wedding. That money might as well have been set on fire.

I always go to Costco and end up leaving with shite I don’t need, but this guy is taking it to the next level.

Feels like Idiocracy was a documentary.

My Grandmother has been up our arse about doing a microwedding at a local historic home for really reasonable cost.
I’m gonna show her this and tell her to stop bitching.
