I’m getting to the point where it pains me to watch him walk to the plate. I’d almost rather try Jake at first since he played it some last year and put Hardin in right and see if Hardin comes around

He looks stuck in between right now.
The fastballs surprise him and he can’t even get a swing off. And the off speed stuff fools him completely.
Until he starts seeing the ball better he really isn’t going to hit. I don’t think he’s close.

Big baw just isn't that good of a hitter. Hopefully he gains some confidence and runs in to a few for us but he does not seem to matchup well with SEC caliber pitching
