Apparently a Teen Fight Club opened in BR.

Baton Rouge opened a giant indoor playground and are shocked that some parents treat it like free daycare and some teens treat it like a Fight Club.
It seems like they did absolutely no research into the "culture" of the area where they were building a business. How much longer do you think the place stays in business?

Fun City Baton Rouge moved into the Ardenwood shopping center at 5905 Florida Blvd. and opened on Feb. 14. in the former Furniture Gallery and flea market. It is located behind the new Rouse's grocery store and a new Southern Classic Chicken restaurant.
The manager, Melissa Ma, moved from Alabama to Baton Rouge to run the new indoor park. Since opening, Ma says that they have been surprised by two things: parents dropping off young children and teenagers fighting on weekends. She reported a fight with several teenagers that happened on March 7, and she has seen Instagram posts encouraging fighting there.

Fun City operates about 25 indoor playgrounds in the U.S., with most of them in the Northeast.

They should lean into this
Posted on 3/19/26 at 9:40 am to BigBinBR

-No one talks about the fight club
-NO ONE TALKS ABOUT THE FIGHT CLUB
-Waivers are a requirement for all buying admission into the park.
-All customers under 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent, guardian or accompanying adult.
-All guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
-Parents or guardians must stay inside the park.
-Drop-offs are not allowed
-If it's your first time, you have to fight
Weird list of regulations

You might be on to something there.
We had a fight club in high school after football practice. We'd throw on the gloves and headgear and beat the shite out of each other in the endzone. 3, 90s rounds would wear you out. Principal shut us down though.
Youts need a controlled environment to settle beefs.

Likely won’t return. Almost $70 for 2 boys (with socks) to play for 2 hours. Go karts and laser tag not working. Play areas not supervised by employees. The ball pit area is supposed to be for younger kiddos, and it was overrun by big kids running over babies trying to play. No one supervising all of the slides, so kids are getting hit by bigger kids going down at the same time. Hope it does okay since there’s nothing on this side of town, but it will get ruined in just a few months with the lack of employees enforcing the rules. Would rather Urban Air where the staff helps a lot more. This is a giant free for all.
It is because a certain demographic ruins everything.

Do they? I don't recall ever needing to box someone to settle a disagreement.
