Who remembers these and has ever used one of them?

No clue what that thing is.

Used it daily in elementary school. Best way to clean the erasers.

I thought it was a sander. We didn't have eraser cleaners like that. The teacher would make us walk outside and clap two erasers together for like 5 minutes to clean them.
The most vivid smell from elementary school for me was those freshly printed pages where the ink and page was damp.

I remember the special ed kids loved that thing, would get all excited when it was running since it was swtup in the hall outside of their classroom. Also remember someone destroying one of those long foam/leather chalk board cleaners on it...

We slammed our erasers outside against the side of the building.

I got to turn the handle...ours wasn't electric.

That fancy pen thing they had for handwriting the document to be copied was fascinating, too.
