So many issues were created by ending them. We got kids getting evicted at spring break, people working that don’t have to, folks getting lost far away traveling, soaring prices from usage rates. Such a simpler time when the government sent us to our abodes and took care of everything

Obviously you’re being facetious, but honestly I miss it. Was just talking about this the other day with someone.

Not the government overreach, mask mandates, clot shot bullshite.

But really everyone was able to work from home. Jobs didn’t expect much for those few months. shite was quieter because stuff was closed, but golf was open.

So much golf.

The stock market was just at the absolute chefs kiss rock bottom. I put a lot of money in at the time, but god what I wouldnt give to go back to March 2020 stock prices and put in every last dime I have.

I miss it. Good times

One or two mentions of the vax always brings out the nuts.

Better stock up on aluminum foil.

It sucked bad.

We were in Columbus in the neurological hospital there ( unrelated to Covid) when it blew up.

People were ridiculous.

I finally made the plunge into the stock market with my early career savings around that time too….except I did it in early February 2020….. I couldn’t even look at the S&P until 2021.

Um not everyone… In my line of work we were considered “essential “ so it wasn’t as you described.

I got thrown onto the wrong timeline in 2020. I’m convinced I’m not supposed to be here with you people.

Impossible for me to work from home

But I loved that 7 on 7 off schedule more than anything

The golf was plentiful and stocks were the cheapest they’d ever be again.

What’s not to love

Plus you had a built in excuse to avoid people you didn’t want to see.

I’d be okay with another super mild China virus outbreak every four years. Like the World Cup. Give us something to look forward to

I miss the covid lock downs for a purely selfish reason: it was a hell of a lot easier to do my job. I will always remember having to run a produce load to Hunts Point for a 4pm delivery and not stopping for traffic at all. For those who dont know, that's in the Bronx and the last 50 miles of that route can take over 3 hours to do in that time of day. George Washington Bridge was completely empty at 3pm and I didnt even have to touch the brake pedal on the NJ Turnpike. Couple of weeks later I had a toilet paper delivery to a restaurant supplier in Commerce, CA which is a few miles se of downtown Los Angeles- same thing. Wide open the whole way with no traffic jams going from Cajon Pass to LA.

Typical for someone who needs the government to tell them how/what to do in every aspect of their lives, since they are too lazy or intelligent to do it themselves.

I loved it. Made me feel like a survivor in a dystopian movie. Still drive around by myself wearing a mask and walk store aisles one way routes.
