I'll never forget the day that I realized the mouse was dirty.

If his compensation package was predicated on running the company into the ground… he did a fine job!

Doesn't matter, whoever replaces him will be the same

They brought him back to clean up the mess from the last guy. All the gay employees were in an uproar, and that guy had figured out a way to upset them and the conservative customers. Iger effectively did nothing to ever repair any of this. He just took a paycheck for the last few years, and let Disney continue to slide downhill.

The problem is the new CEO Josh D’Amaro has been there for years. Nothing will change in my opinion.

At 75, is he ill? Seems sudden
Also, he stood by while Kathleen killed Star Wars
Best ROI on purchased IPs
1) Pixar @ $40B
2) Marvel @ $13B
3) Star Wars @ $12B
Star Wars should have been the most lucrative, by far

Iger allowed the company to get ultra liberal, but Chapek was gas on the fire.

My stock is up 8% over 3 years
Which is not great… but nowhere near running it into the ground…

You're really saying less than 3% is not bad? An index fund would have netted you 9% a year blindly.

Read what I wrote.
It’s not great.
Plenty of stichs have lost money over that time,
Running into the ground is an absurd take.

Well stock price at least. NED funding made up the difference though.

Um bud, I hate to tell you this but the Dow is up like 35% over that period. That is a fricking terrible underperformance.
