Hopefully that's the extent of his comments on Kent. Dragging an American hero with a TruthSocial diatribe won't be a good look

Basically what I stated in an earlier thread about Kent resigning. It's a good thing. People on a team need to believe in the "coach" and his strategy.

Accusing POTUS of starting a “never ending war” that is a couple weeks old with no boots on ground is some next level panican behavior

Hope Kent enjoys his life of political irrelevance, he will never again be in office. He couldn’t even win a congressional seat in a red district

I've been following Kent for years you fricking retard. Anybody who does 11 tours in some of the most elite units of the military is absolutely a hero to me. You prefer your heroes to be politicians who get rich fricking you over, to each his own.

Netanyahu is the reason we left JCPOA & a large part of the reason we are bombing Iran. You can call it a conspiracy if you want.

It's true that Kent can't serve in the administration if he's not aligned on something pertinent to his work. Both sides are right there.

It's lame that the administration is continuing to sell this dumbed down "they were going to attack us first" thing as a defense to Kent's statement.

They were going to attack us first because Israel was going to attack Iran. They're knowingly and intentionally conflating what would have been missiles and drones into regional assets with a nuclear threat. They're doing this because the actual justification for war is more complicated and they think we're too dumb and our attention spans are too short to articulate it to us. Which is partly true, but it's also the case that this type of short circuiting almost always has credibility blowback.

Makes sense, smart leaders know that you never want dissenting voices in the room where decisions are made, it's much better for everyone to tell you what you already believe to be true

He IS a politician now, you dipshit.

He LOST his House race.

Right now is the best time to cash in as the next "independent Republican hero". Quitting 2 weeks after the campaign started means he was too gutless to stand up earlier and I would tell him that to his face before you ask.

He will be another mealy-mouthed a-hole on cable in a couple of months.

“ It's a good thing. People on a team need to believe in the "coach" and his strategy.”(quote lc).

Exactly. One examines the possible scenarios when a formidable opponent openly states their intent to do one serious harm, and one then forms preventive strategies. Given 9-11 it is obvious that Jihadist Islam is serious re their threats and that Oct 7 proved their ruthless, barbaric and psychopathic mentality. Not to mention the old video beheadings that they dropped and likely scrubbed due to bad PR reasons.

Regardless, we are now in.

My older Brother (160 lbs.) used to get in a lot of fights and he told that if you are facing a serious opponent, to maneuver into position to deliver a crippling first punch. And don’t let up after that. One either employs that strategy or one’s enemy does. This is not rocket science. They believe our hedonistic/narcissistic culture is pure evil. And half or population believes the same about the other half. Go figure.
