It’s not about what they want.
It’s not about doing the right thing.
It is about getting approval from other women that they’re in the In group, not the out group.
Women gravitate towards woke nonsense because other women judge them/isolate/ridicule them for not being so. Women tend to create these social shaming echo chambers that feed on each other and amplify to absurdity.
