What are the lines been like at the airport recently? How bad was security in his TSA pre-check still open?

Last Sunday seems to have been the only day. There was a planned sick-out.

I flew Wednesday of last week. Maybe 3 mins?

Id heard last week was pretty bad due to spring break crowds.

Sunday 3/8 at MSY was like a 3 hr delay. Monday 3/9 was normal (10 mins through tsa recheck line) however my flight was canceled by airline
Tuesday from BTR I was only one in line for TSA precheck. Went right through

Flew out Friday and returned yesterday, lines were almost non-existent. The Pre-check line yesterday when leaving was double the length of the standard line

I damn I just signed up for PreCheck and a trial of Clear+.
Going on a trip next month, I wanted to make sure I wouldn’t get stuck at the TSA line. Applied for Known traveler number on Friday, got notified on Sunday that it was approved. Which by government standards that is pretty good.
Luckily my flights are red eyes so the lines should be short on either end, but no telling in this day and age. The last time I was traveling somewhere I missed my flight so I didn’t want to repeat the same mistake.

Not sure about MSY, Hobby wasn't bad super early in the morning but was congested by 7:30 last Friday.

I was with a family member yesterday morning who was leaving on a 10:30am flight. Got there around 8:00am. The line at TSA seemed to be about normal and was moving at a good clip. They checked in, made in through TSA, and were at their gate within an hour.

I came through NOLA airport on Thursday and there were no lines. Headed back today from Columbus, OH and No lines.
