Baseball portal comparison from 25 to 26 is ridiculously different

It will get out of hand by the 5th again today.
Im simply amazed that these players were brought here. There was a huge mistake in evaluating these players.
How do you evaluate players and brought in these guys successfully in 25 who helped win a title.
Hernandez
Eyanson
Dickinson
Stanfield
Cowan(not sure he will be that guy this season)
Couple others
To this in 26. Literally all of them are non factors.
York(pipeline to wwe raw)
Dardar
Caraway
Simpson
Harden
Moore(meh)
Downvote away but these were major fails. These kids have no business playing for the 8 time title holders that is LSU. This season will result in a losing record with this level of talent these players have in the sec and overall.

I get the downvotes. You have too much pride and its a way of coping but facts tho.
This portal class has brought and gonna bring lsu to uncharted lows this season that no eyes have seen in decades.

Absolutely. The announcers talked about it last night. Jay was having to recruit the portal while preparing for games. It’s a lot to juggle. Probably why we won’t see any more back-to-back champs in the portal era.

Mack and Volchko would've been nice. I'm not sure who else that we were pursuing would've helped. I think the portal was just a little bit thin last year. Additionally Jay said he wasn't expecting to get hit so hard by the draft. I suspect Jay also planned for Costello being the heir at 1B 2 years ago. Still not sure why he left, can only guess he wanted to be near home.
I don't understand why Harden didn't play every game that Stanfield was out. He looks like he has as much upside as anyone but just needs more polishing. This is the kind of guy Jay could turn into an all conferenc type player IMO but unfortunately he plays the only position where we're actually pretty good

He wasn’t behind either in the pecking order for 1st base this year. That spot was wide open and, last I checked, neither are starting there. Reaves has never played there. Pearson has one time and it went horribly. Reaves platooned with Braswell at third last year. Not even sure why you felt the need to insert him into this argument

Not arguing with you because I don’t really keep up with the portal until they commit to LSU, but who would LSU have gotten from the portal if they weren’t playing for a championship?
