We have traded MAGA for war. The way this war ends is coming into focus.

It ends with the prolonged disruption of the oil flow and possibly worse, damage to other Gulf States ability to produce oil.

And it always had to be that way. It was never going to end in the destruction of Israel or the regime change in Iran. It was always going to end in resession, inflation and lost elections.

Here is the ugly truth. Iran will make sure that oil is all screwed up badly enough and for long enough to ensure that this president and his base pay dearly for this attack.

Its the only thing Iran is capable of doing and it is sufficient to pevent this sort of attack from ever happening again.

Every single economic consequence of this war will be assigned to MAGA economic policies like tarrifs and reindustrialuzation ( it causes inflation you know).

We literally opened the door for the crazy democrats to return to power and we assumed responsibility for the economic mess they created

Its all about the strait and the oil. The rest is just an impressive fireworks display.

We should have never gone in without the high probability of regime change, or at the very least, high certainty that we could protect the oil economies in the Gulf and keep the strait open.
