He’s getting the team ready for next year; you don’t win back to back natties after losing the top 3 pitchers in the country and having to rely on true freshmen

So that means he shouldn’t have tried?

He has earned a few off years.

It means he didn’t have the funds to bring in Ace Reese and Justin LeBron, and possibly others from the portal bc LSU didn’t get the baseball commitment in rev share and NIL

At some point, the guys just have to execute. They’re just not doing it

Caraway and Yorke aren’t living up to the hype. Dardar isn’t either

What kind of stupid shite is this. First off, Jay would never take "a year off". Second, as long as he's cashing his check this year, he owes 100% effort this year, regardless of what he did last year. Anything else would make him Ed O, and Jay is much better and has much more pride and integrity than that.

Yeah I’m sure you’re right. I mean, you’re the guy that thinks revenue share is the problem

I thought coaches were fully to blame for whatever happens with their team, no excuses.

Why would you not blame Jay for how this team was constructed?

They are, but if a coach wins 2 natties in 3 years you give them grace dumbass

giving them grace and not blaming them are 2 different things

You absolutely can and should blame him for the shortcomings of this team

Because he won 2 natties in 3 years. That’s not normal in baseball

Jay put this roster together. All blame is on him for a horrible job of evaluating talent.
