This has been an unprecedented stretch of horrible play, but…

I have all the faith in the world in CJJ. If there’s one guy that can figure it out and get it back on track, he can. A ton of season left.

Yep. Not looking promising. Prioritize the freshman like Ruckert, Braun, and Serna.

This year's team is an assembly of spare parts. It's a base model 2006 PT Cruiser to last year's BMW X5.

I am perplexed that CJJ would put a team like this together. What was he thinking smoke and mirrors.

Jay is a great post season coach. He’s a mediocre roster builder and regular season coach. Three out of five mediocre teams and he’s never come close to a regular season SEC title in five seasons

After living through the 2024 season, I’m certainly not as concerned as if I hadn’t followed that one so closely. I’ll be happy with about a 15 & 15 conference record and a team playing its best baseball come regional time. I’m with you I believe CJJ will get the best out of these guys. His system prepares/develops them better than any other.

Lsu had the #1 high school class and top 5 transfer class. Why would anyone give up on these guys so soon?
I have all the faith in the world that CJJ will get this team rolling and back to hosting regularly and winning championships.
Idk what happened to the hitting and pitching these last couple of weeks, but I know one guy that can figure it out. CJJ.

Watching Yorke not be able to throw a decent ball to the plate last night summed up the season thus far for me.

This team aint going to Omaha without an overhaul of sorts.

It’s frustrating because of Milan Curiel and Brown. These guys are the best. Add Stanfield. Yorke is hard to watch. He isn’t a replacement for Jared Jones. And we haven’t discussed pitching. It’s simply not there yet.

This is hard to watch when you have followed the LSU baseball team for so long. When you have high expectations and you get this, it's depressing. Still, it's just a game and you need to take things in stride. Someone has to lose. I just wish it wasn't LSU. This won't last and I hope they figure it out and we turn things around.
