1. Evans moved to relief, he's not a starting pitcher. Moore should start Friday, Schmidt on Saturday, maybe Garcia on Sunday?
2. Reeves to sit the bench, WTF do you see in this guy Jay
3. Guidry as a mid-game reliever for 1 inning max.
4. Have Arrambide spend nights at the team facility until he figures out how to catch the **** ball.

Omaha?

Going to need drastic improvement in every facet. Won’t say it’s impossible but it will take more than coaching moves. Theses guys have to find the edge.

Maybe give Serna some time back there and maybe send a message to Arambide that if he doesn’t get his shite together, he will be replaced.

I remember on this very board last year people said that the 2025 team was garbage and may not make the SEC tourney.

The melts here re glorious.

One of the many reasons Jay is so great is because he doesn't overreact to a few performances. Baseball is a long season and the goal is to reach max upside for the postseason, not win tomorrow

2. Hit ball

Yeah i mostly agree with you.

I think Evans has looked like he’s is struggling with trying to pitch further in games. I think either put him in the pen or let him be an “opener” on sunday and tell him go all out and when you’re done you’re done. We don’t need 5-6-7. We have these arms left

Ah yes. Let’s throw away 6 months of fall, pre-season, and preconference work and development away because of one bad outing. Surely making decisions based on overreactions are the solution.

Arrambide has 2 errors and 3 PBs in 164 chances, Serna has 2 errors and 3 PBs in 82 chances.

And Cade has the better bat right now.

Evan's control and psyche has been weak in every start this season, this was not just one bad outing.

Garcia on Sunday ???? he’s been a reliever his whole career. Maybe Cowan after what he looked like last night.

Except when Evans was perfect through 5 innings vs Sacramento State with 9 Ks and no walks.

Swing and a miss.

and then he fell apart at 70 pitches and gave up 2 runs.

I still think Evans is a good pitcher. I think the starter role is an issue for him

These threads are so funny to me. If Guidry got the last out last night, he’d be everyone’s hero and there would be Omaha ticket threads

Fell apart?

He gave up 2 singles through the infield before a routine pop fly that would’ve ended the inning went over Curiel’s head because for some reason he was positioned 10 yards behind 2nd base.

Evans is a starter and that isn't changing.

1. find some pitching
2. start swinging and making contact regularly 1-9
3. learn to field cleanly and play situational baseball

simple really...

I have more faith in Jay Johnson to get this team where they need to be more than a guy from Hazzard County with an Uncle Jesse.
