Chemistry major was forced to take a required DEI course on Gender Studies
She submitted a project, “the professor said, Olivia, this is solid work, but you use the term biological woman, which is heteronormative, exclusive
and transphobic”
She received an F
“I was loading up my summer semester and one of the required courses was DEI, so I chose women's gender studies. I never would've chosen that kind of class, and every single assignment and discussion board was very liberal-sided.
— We were assigned a final project worth half of our entire grade. It was about feminism — I submit my project and a few days later I receive a notification that my grade has dropped to an F.
I figured I forgot to submit it or something, and I look at the comments that the professor left and it said, Olivia, this is solid work, but you use the term biological woman, which is heteronormative, exclusive, and transphobic.”

This is a repost of a 2023 viral TikTok video of University of Cincinnati chemistry major, Olivia Krolczyk, who received a zero on a feminism project proposal (focused on trans athletes in women's sports) for using "biological woman," which her professor labeled heteronormative, exclusive, and transphobic.
Krolczyk appealed the grade, leading to university intervention; she ultimately earned an A in the course after the incident sparked national media coverage and debates on academic bias in gender studies.
RePosted amid ongoing culture war discussions, the video has reignited online outrage with over 5,000 likes and hundreds of replies urging lawsuits, underscoring persistent tensions between biological terminology and inclusive language mandates in higher education.

They really need to outlaw this crap

If the left wins a presidency again, this will become the norm and speaking out against it will be ground for arrest.

Heteronormative means normal
Do not allow this.
Do not allow this.

Good.
Let them try to arrest everyone.

Clearly marriage material. I hope she escalates this travesty to a higher level where the professor gets an appropriate comeuppance.

All those Gender studies majors would legit cry in all those chemistry classes
They’d drop the classes long before they ever failed them.
They couldn’t handle the actual difficult material

DEI & CRT aren’t dead. They’re coming back roaring like a lion once the America-hating Democrats are in control again.

Gonna have a real uphill battle to do this. Creating some statutory language an apply it to grading practices would be a bitch. You would then have some african american studies leftist trying to get their professor arrested for giving them an F when their paper is full of grammatical errors.
The university thankfully stepped in and took care of this lovely young lady at the end of the day. I'd say the any good civil rights lawyer will be happy to take a nice chunk of any university's endowment if they would like to stand behind professors like this. I'd like to see a girl like this be set for life thanks to some useless piece of crap like this professor.

So first the Student was given an "F". Then she was given an "A", and the teacher was reprimanded. Then the teacher's reprimand was retracted. Then the press carried Woe-is-me pieces about the brave, mistreated teacher.

UC repeals reprimand for gender studies professor who gave student a zero
by Zurie Pope
July 6, 2023
The University of Cincinnati has rescinded a reprimand issued to an adjunct professor who failed her former student for using the term "biological woman" in a class assignment about trans athletes.
Professor Melanie Nipper argued that her decision was well within the boundaries of acceptable censorship outlined in UC's free speech policy, that which is "reasonably related to a legitimate pedagogical purpose, such as classroom rules enacted by teachers."
The university agreed the reprimand was "issued in error," and it will be removed from her personnel file, according to an email sent to Nipper on June 29 from Margaret Hanson, the College of Arts and Sciences interim dean. However, Nipper is still expected to complete a training on the University of Cincinnati's Free Speech requirements prior to the beginning of the fall 2023 term and submit her syllabus for approval.
The student, Olivia Krolcyzk, said the university's decision to rescind the reprimand is "an injustice to students everywhere."
"UC is affirming that professors will have no consequences for failing students with dissenting opinions," Krolcyzk said in a statement. "They will not uphold a student’s rights to free speech and will take no action to ensure that the educators hired are acting in a professional manner."

Hopefully this red pills her if she isn’t already. My wife is in a STEM career. I often tell her she is a unicorn. She is feminine, but her brain thinks rationally almost like a man.

4chubby loves to talk about how college educated she is.
If your college education is in social sciences, its very likely made you dumber.

My dad was a college professor. As he told me don’t confuse education with intelligence. He had a lot of Cajun friends who could fix anything and could do almost any trade.

Which brings another reason on why college has a lot of degrees that are definitely not advancing anything except craziness.
Go into ChemE or some tough major where your degree is worth something when you graduate.
I was a really big dumbass my first go at college in an easier degree. I worry that these degrees are basically scamming these fellow dumbasses who think they're doing something good.
Air Force straightened me out and now I'm graduating in the degree I mentioned above.

Strictly anecdotal here but I was a biology major.
I had several friends who were kinesiology majors and they altered the course curriculum for them requiring an upper level/difficult biology class to graduate . These senior kinesiology majors took biology for freshman 111 for science majors.
They all exclusively were flunking it, saying it was harder than all their Kinesiology classes by far.. and this was the intro freshman pre med biology class. Like it only gets harder from there in the biology curriculum
