What?
No it didn’t. If the passed ball doesn’t happen, it’s a 3run homer instead of a 2 run homer. Changes nothing.

Maybe he gets walked to load the bases with an out at any bag. Who knows

Let me ask you. If you were Guidry how comfortable would you be throwing a nasty curve ball that might end up in the dirt (or turf in this case) with the tying run on third and Cade catching? The tying run would not have been on third without the passed ball. So to say it had no effect is probably not accurate.

That doesn’t even make sense. The passed ball did not prevent a walk.

Let’s try reality for a little while. This team is bad period. 1st team to be preseason #1 and Benoit of the rankings by March barring catastrophic injuries. Also we’ve played one along the worst sos in the nation. This team outside Brown and Curiel is complete trash. We have a 6’1 300lb guy playing first base hitting .213 on the season. Sit back relax it is what it is. Vegas notoriously over prices LSU. Bet against them every game the rest
Of the year and win a shitload of money and save up for next years trip to Omaha.

This team is absolutely dead in the water. No fire zero excitement. No pitching. Catcher can’t catch or hit. First baseman that would be bunted agaisnt into exhaustion in Omaha. Cant field. Cant run bases. Can’t throw. Name one thing this team
Is good at besides cashing checks…….ILL WAIT. Then our coach brings in a dude that hasn’t thrown a strike all
Year after our “ace” got rocked like batting practice. That dude proceeds to walk the bases loaded on 13 pitches. Total frick show.

Wrong.

You can't spell, and A&M was out of the rankings in March after starting #1 literally last year.

SOS is completely fake on March 14.

Dumb, loud, and wrong.

Every single number listed in this sentence is incorrect.

What are you talking about?

We just scored 8 consecutive runs in a baseball game while down 6.

No pitching.
Wrong.

Catcher can’t catch or hit.
Catcher had multiple hits tonight and gave up 2 PB at most.

First baseman that would be bunted agaisnt into exhaustion in Omaha.
You have no idea what you're talking about.

Great Sat/Sun. Tons of potential on the staff. Best defensive OF in the country. Best defensive SS in the country.

Jay Johnson brought in a guy who threw well in the post season on a national title team as a freshman after Casan Evans gave up one hard hit ball in 4 innings.

It's almost impressive how much you were able to get wrong in 2 incoherent paragraphs.

Nice melt Sandy.

Yorke's is batting .274 on the season. Do better.

It's a long season.

Dude if you’re going to be that negative at least get your facts right. Like every “fact” you tried to lay out there was dead wrong lol.

The passed ball led to one run, on a well-hit sacrifice fly which advanced both runners. Next batter K'd, then the hanging offspeed fastball which was walloped all the way to Cookeville, for the Vandy win

He meant it left open the option for an intentional walk and set up a better out scenario. Phew man!

He can hit, but hitting is not the number 1 priority for a catcher.

His receiving (catching) leaves a lot to be desired. He tries to pick the ball wayyyy too often instead of blocking and his mitt is loud (not sounds loud, just a lot of exaggerated movement).

Go watch Milazzo from 2023 to see what a catcher should look like.

Arrambide is really poor at receiving and blocking pitches. I honestly saw some improvement over last season. I don’t understand what happened and why no more progression? Most of these skills can be trained and worked on in an off season.

Honestly that’s a lot for a solid college catcher. A wild pitch is excusable. The one thing a catcher needs to be able to do easily is catch. One thing that doesn’t show up in the stat column but affects an umpire is receiving/framing pitches. Arrambide drops a lot of pitches. As many as I can remember any catcher dropping. It’s like something is wrong with his mitt that it keeps popping out.

Except they weren’t in the middle of intentionally walking him…. They were pitching to him.
