I agree, but man....we have one gauntlet of a schedule this year though

First month of the season we have Clemson, at Ole Miss, vs Texas A&M

Then in November we have a 3 week stretch of Alabama, vs Texas, at Tennessee

We managed 7 wins with half a team so 8.5 isn't unreasonable with the studs we got in the portal.

Nine wins might be a playoff berth if the losses are good enough

The question is can they go 5-3 in the SEC next year?

You say that today, but halfway through the season the main school of thought on this board will be, "it's Kiffin's first year, give him time to implement his system".

I will be pissed if we only win 8 or 9 games this fall, but it is what it is. The schedule is not going to be easy but thankfully we get some big ones at home.

We’re an 8–4 team until proven otherwise.

I don’t like @Ole Miss, A&M, or @Auburn, and honestly, the entire month of November is losable.

So yeah, out of seven losable games, only dropping four would actually be optimistic.

I literally have no idea. 9 seems logical but I cannot say I’d be real excited about 8. None of us know anything yet though so frick it let’s ride.
