Patriot Games, it doesn't even try to follow the book.

- Red Coats are Grey
- The whole battle at the house is wrong.
- How the terrorists died wasn't even close, given that they don't die in the book.

Whether it be big or small they just made shite up or changed it.

Not a book but The Old Man. I think the first scene is the same, then it is completely different from that point forward.

I think you're mixing up C&PD and Patriot Games, but both were pretty shite compared to the books.

What are you talking about. It follows a lot of the book.

Are you mixing it up with Without Remorse.?

That Clancy adaptation is 100% nothing like the book other than the name.

Na. Patriot Games has most of the book.

Without Remorse had absolutely nothing to do with the book. Like zero overlap. Character names is about all that was similar. Ok so not zero overlap but character names is about it. Actually, looking at the character names, not much overlap there too.

The movie was in developmental hell for over 2 decades. I remember when the book came out and the rights were immediately purchased.

You are right, fixed. I am reading CPD right now and have it on the brain.

If you think Patriot Games differed from the book then I raise you with no chance of you winning with Without Remorse.

Not a movie but The Wheel of Time was a total abomination. The people who were responsible should be gaishan for 100 years and 1 day.

Lawnmower Man.

That one also can't be beat.

The short story is about a man who mows the lawn by eating it. But he essentially opens his mouth into a monstrous lawn mower.

It has nothing to do with AI or computers.

I don't think Patriot Games is a good movie, not even considering the book differences. C&PD is at least an entertaining movie if you don't compare it to the book, but that's the same for a lot of book-to-movie adaptations. Hell, even Hunt for Red October has a bunch of differences, but its still an awesome movie.

Written by people who actually hate the source material. They took likeable main characters and made them ALL terrible.

They felt the need to woke it up and SHUT THE frick UP liberal clowns the show runner said he was making it woke before it was even released. What need. All of the women were powerful and controlled most of the world. No need to make it even more woke.

What they did to Matt and Perrin is an abomination.

Killing characters that were actually alive in the 14th book. Killing them in the first season. Then realizing the mistake they made and magically with no real explanation brining them back to life.

All involved with Wheel should be embarrassed.

I recall the first book was a somewhat decent adaptation then the rest had NOTHING to do with the books which was a shame. I remember liking those.

The winner has to be The Dark Tower and I haven't even seen it. Next would be Peter Jackson's Hobbit trilogy. And third, The Grinch.

The Firm. Completely changed the ending. An abomination.
