Couple things.
1.) LSU admin still has not gotten the money together to fire CMM unfortunately, that can change but at this point the boosters have been unwilling. We will see what Landry, Verge, Mallet, and Rousse can do.
2.) NC State still has not fulfilled their NIL promises to Will that they gave him when he was hired, NIL package would matter much more than his salary if it comes to him choosing between LSU or staying.
3.) Hopefully as we all know by now, him saying those things do not mean a single thing when it comes to possibly coming here or not.

My gut says he isn’t returning. He has the amenities that he was crying out for here. I just hope the people at the top have a competent approach in place to perform a search and identify top candidates.

The LSU job isn’t open yet. No coach is comment on the LSU job.
His team is going to the NCAA tournament. Almost no coach will leave his team before a playoff game.

Imagine having that standard? They’re going to make the NCAA tournament but Wade says that the year still hasn’t gone as they wanted it.
Instead, McLoser in his presser gives the same timid, drippy response that he gave after the A&M loss….which was a bunch of nonsense.
McMahon is far and away the WORST head coach in Division I yet we’re probably stuck with him for at least another year because we’re run by inept, incompetent morons who are afraid to think outside the box.
Make an announcement one way or the other. I’m ready to either be excited for any new vision or check out completely.

This will be done the Louisiana way. Try for the unattainable option and then when that fails, just toss your hands in the air, say “we tried” and then settle for mediocrity (but in this case, failure).

lol what do you expect the guy to say after just losing a basketball game ab a question he most likely didn’t think he would be asked . The fact that Wade asked if the lsu job was open or not makes me feel more confident he may actually be interested in a return
