Cornyn v Paxton polling in TX shows that Trumps endorsement could swing that race one way or the other.

For Trump voters in 2024, do you consider Trumps endorsement as a deciding factor when voting on state level candidates?

Up = yes
Down = no

I like a lot of what Trump is doing, but many of his endorsements have been head-scratchers and it's not a good guidline to picking the best reps

Trump's endorsement won't move the needle for me. Voted for Paxton in the primary and will do the same in the general

Zero when it comes to Cornyn. He’s a grifter and a fricking bitch. If it was up to him Trump would be a private citizen now. 3-5 years ago woukd have probably voted to put Trump in prison.

As a Texan and someone that already voted for Paxton, and will again in the runoff, Trumps endorsement means less than nothing to me. This is the same with my family and everyone I know that has already voted Paxton. We are fricking sick of politicians like Cornyn. I am also not scared with a Paxton Vrs. Talarico scenario. Talarico has literally called for the abolishment of prisons and called God trans. He's not going to win Texas.

What pissed me off is senators like Thune and Cornyn holding up the Save act in the senate as blackmail for an endorsement, this is the whole reason so many of us are voting Paxton to get rid of bullshite like that.

That all makes sense. I was prompted to ask by the Texas vote polling, but its also a question that I've been wondering about in primaries in other red states.

I dont want to impact the vote by stating my opinion on it, but from FL to TX and beyond as we look at a post Trump GOP nation I'm very interested to see what people on here think as this place is largely pro-Trump even with disagreements on some issues.

Just to clarify, did you vote for him in 2024?

Texan chiming in here… I haven’t been able to find 1 Cornyn supporter.

Regardless of who Trump endorses, Cornyn isn’t winning the Republican primary.

He’s the last vestige of the Bush political machine in Texas. Fck him

I voted for Hunt because I liked him a little better than Paxton. I will vote for Paxton in the runoff. Never considered Cornyn.

I voted Paxton in the primary… but will be bringing my wife and 18 year old son to vote Paxton in the runoff!

What percentage of the Wesley Hunt vote do you believe will go to Paxton?
