Those two situations aren’t similar at all. While you are correct in that there are people on here that feel like they have to defend the LSU coach no matter what, Jay has earned the benefit of the doubt, BK had not.
Some of y’all just have to readjust your expectations. You aren’t going to be a top 8 seed national championship team every year. Some years it’s going to be like the 2024 season.

Baseball teams go through streaks. The sheer number of games played guarantees it.
Football teams can’t afford to go through streaks.

Too many act like the season is over. This is the same team that was hitting crazy good for first few weeks of the season. Not like the good ole days when the casual fans didn't post about baseball. We used to have damn good baseball threads.

No one has denied that. But threads like this are why the negative posts about the team get discredited so much. Because they just say the weirdest and dumbest shite.
