Does Etienne signing pretty much make Tate the favorite now at 8?

Alot of mock drafts will be changing that first round prediction now. Could create a really good trade back opportunity if Love is there at 8. Theres alot of boards that have him as the best player in this draft.

no... the emphasis on filling holes on offense signals, to me, we are likely going with the best defensive player on the board at 8... possibly even trading up for one of the elites (Bailey, Reese, or Styles)

I’d actually say defense is WAY more likely at 8.

2 of the top 4 paid positions are WR and DE/Edge. With DE/Edge being number 2 I think we go in that direction. Maybe a 2nd round WR.

No. The only way we went offense at #8 is Love.
We just spent $33mil on offense and Olave is going to be atleast another $30. We are for sure spending the remaining money/ best picks on defense. I wouldn't be surprised if we don't go WR until Rd 3.
