“The Painter” (Hitler) movement on social media

Have any of you noticed the movement popping up on social media. These people or groups are reimagining hitler as a sort of hero and call him “the painter”.
I just don’t see how anyone can get behind a guy that killed 6 million Jews (unless they don’t believe in the holocaust).
They’ve taken his speeches and recorded the in English so that people can more easily connect to them.

Happens once those that lived through it dies. All the “greats” in history have had this reimagining.

I haven’t seen this but I was one of the first to start watching his speeches in English. For all the destruction and murder and hysteria, he had some good points. It would be good if everyone could get beyond “Hitler Bad!” and actually examine the way he came to be. He was quite charismatic and people wouldn’t have thought he was “Hitler” at the time he was launching himself into power.

Because that’s the statistic that’s always thrown out. I realize there were other races and creeds who were also killed.

The English versions of Hitler's speeches have been out for a while. They are interesting historical remakes. Makes it easier to see how so many were seduced by the man.
