You Tiger baseball fans need to face facts

You lost a lot of talent last year and this team is simply not as good as last years. There are only two guys that are productive hitters and everybody else is just mid level. Make all the excuses you want, this is a weak team. You will feel it next weekend for sure!

Why is every single poster with the words "Monroe" and "boudin" in their names blabbering idiots?

You mean all the talent that fans bitched about last year because they had numerous games where they didn’t hit worth a shite and was saying the same thing about that lineup you are about this lineup?

I’m assuming you mean curiel and brown. Meanwhile Milam and Stanford (who has barely played) were top hitters on the team last year, haven’t reined it in yet. Then you have guys like Yorke, Caraway, and Dardar, who have scorched the ball in previous stops, that haven’t found themselves yet. And then there’s Bide, who is Jay’s best projection on the team.
I’m not happy with the offensive output either, but I think there’s too much talent on this team for this to continue. I was pissed off all throughout this game at these at bats, but they are swinging at a few of the right pitches away from being dominant again. Yorke swung at 3 change ups in the 9th like they were fastballs thinking he’d get that. Head scratching, but I think he’s the type of bat that learns from it.
Maybe it takes to long for them to learn from these things, maybe not. Giving up on them right now though just screams fair weather fan with a coach that proved it last year that he can make it work with any offense

I was Sitting right behind home plate and when he swung and missed at the first on I told the guy sitting next to me that two more were coming. Does Yorke even know how to hit the ball the other way? Everything is dead pull.

Its Chris Stanfield bro, show me where Yorke, Caraway and Dardar "scorched" the ball. Caraway hit .267 last year. Yorke played in the Mountain west conference n hit 13 hr. They are not great defensively and Dardar is a liability at 2nd, we are loosing games in all areas not just offensively. We lost a game by giving up a grand slam to a dude batting .179 with 0 hr this year. We can't keep acting like facing alot more talented teams is going to fix these things.

You non-Tigers fans need to STFU because you obviously don't know a damn thing about college baseball, especially LSU baseball. This team is talented and will be fine.

Here are some baseball "facts" that we all have to face:
- The season is long and has its own ebb-n-flow.
- Almost every season we win a natty has some head scratchers. In '23 we lost 2 of our last 3 SEC series and also lost to Nicholls. Last year, we got run-ruled by NW State and got swept by Auburn. Jared Jones struck-out 5X in G1 vs Arky in Omaha and then homered to tie it in G3 and hit the winner.
- Now it's about finding the pieces to your puzzle and who's ready for prime-time and who ain't. And later on, it's about being clutch and peaking.

None of those things have anything to do with this year.

The fact is no one knows shite lol. This team could be Texas AM of last year or they could go on a serious run if they put it together. Anyone who talks in definitives is just guessing.

You’re absolutely right
And we should not make any assumptions about your level of intelligence basing an opinion on this team right now in regards to where it might finish this season?
I buy a drink for just about any college baseball fan every night I’m in Omaha. Certainly hope I never did for your dumb arse. LOL
Chances are I have. What I’m trying to say is chill the frick out. Jay has assembled a baseball roster according to what he feels is necessary to win it all. And how he uses them and when is above your level of comprehension.

The facts still remain the same. Both are extremely true. You can copy n paste two different post together but both statements are accurate. I never said Caraway wouldn't turn it around or isn't capable because of the previous year he had. I was pointing out he didn't "scorch the baseball". And this team success or lack there of has nothing to do with last years or 2023.

Not sure about these "facts."
Team very well may be worse, but it's early.
I'm interested to see how this ages next weekend. Maybe you are right, but we shall see.

I don't think people get told this enough anymore. Especially in real life. It's made them soft.
