Belmont pretty much clinched with their loss yesterday too.

Why is the NIT a thing anymore?

It should be the de facto national championship for mid-majors

Maybe…just maybe…there’s guys that know their careers on the court end after college, and they wouldn’t mind playing some games for a chance to go to Indy? Or MSG? Or wherever the hell it is?

The obsession with this idea that you stop playing once you’re out of true championship contention has rotted sports.

Not sure, seems like that Vegas tournament is already bigger.

Remember when athletes played for the love if the game and fans were not hateful pricks? Good times.

For those that may not know or remember, last season the NIT told South Alabama they had a bid to their tournament…only to take it away when a team that had previously declined decided they wanted to play.

USA had won the Sun Belt regular season championship last year.

Before the obsession with hitting your parlay. And if not, you go hunt down the backup point guard for Long Beach State on social media to blame him for not covering the 9.5 point spread.
