Mulkey is flawed but I’m laughing at these comments

South Carolina just has LSU number. LSU got lucky in 2023 when Iowa took our South Carolina. Had South Carolina beat Iowa they would have beaten LSU. I hope they don't have to face them in the tournament.

Nailed it. We can beat SCar. FJohnson seems to disappear for stretches of play. Great young lady but maybe her attention is split on other things. ??

Staley has her number and just lockers her every game. I don't think Mulkey is a bad coach by any means but for some reason Staley dominates her. Don't even try to say it's the players. Mulkey puts those players in their positions to win and SC does the same. SC never has those problems against LSU. Staley is simply a better coach and there's no shame in admitting it.

Our lack of discipline and execution kills us against teams with equal talent. We out talent most teams by playing 1 on 1 ball on offense and that doesn’t work against equal talented teams.

USC is just in their heads. Both really good teams and I don’t think USCe is actually better. I’d say they are even. Reality though is that USCe and Staley have gotten into the players heads. It’s a self fulfilling prophecy and once LSU wins one of them, it will change things.
This happens all the time in sports at every level. One team just has the other under there thumb.

LSU women’s basketball is not on par with USCe. They are the standard. Time to elevate your game

They lose more money than any other sport on campus. Almost $8m a year. She is the 2nd highest paid hc on campus making $3.2m/year. It doesnt make sense. It is bad business to keep this charade going.
