Currently DH sits at

10th: in rushing yards with 13,018
4th: in rushing TD's with 122
1 season with 2,000 yards

He's averaging around 1,200 yards a season which will put him 7th all time at the end of next season. I think it's very achievable.

The crazy part is can he do two more times? Putting him 3rd all time with 16,618 yards.

He still looks to be every bit as big, strong, and fast as he was when he came into the league. He had one season, 2021, where an injury sidelined him.

Always fun to look at are his high school stats that are laughable.
1,397 carries, 12,124 yards, and 153 TDs

He's a workhorse for sure. Is he better than

Barry Sanders
Marshall Faulk
Tony Dorsett
The Juice
Sayers
DIckerson

To name a few. They were dynamic backs.

He stacks up to me more like:
Emmitt Smith
Walter Peyton
Hell, John Riggins (although he is much better)

He's a bruiser workhorse. He is one of the best of those ever.

I agree, and I think that Ladainian Tomlinson needs to be placed higher as a complete back.

You can’t call someone a bruiser workhorse with his big play ability.

You graduate to a different level if you’re a bruiser workhorse who also make huge plays all the time.

If I had to win one game...Sanders, Payton and Faulk the only ones I'd choose over Henry.

Wish the Cowboys would have picked him instead of one-year wonder Ezekiel Elliot

There aren’t 20 RBs better than Henry. Get outta here with that BS.

Being a must watch is high on the list in ranking backs all-time...or should be. When most elite backs have roughly ballpark similar stats, compilers drop down in esteem.

Some people think Henry is boring most of the time, some eagerly await the breakaways.

He's probably middle tier between elite stat heavy load carry fall forward guy and unreal watch every play guy (Sanders, Sayers for example).

Your Riggins analogy is somewhat apt but he's like a Hemi compared to the Diesel.

If he puts up similar numbers this year to what he's been averaging, I think a case can be made for Top 5 all-time. Right now he's definitely Top 10.
