I could deal with being deaf as long as my eyesight is good. I don’t think I could deal with being blind.

I'd choose life. I would be the best damn blind and deaf person you ever heard of.

Damn, what a depressing question...

All I will say is that life is a gift from God, and this topic should serve as a reminder to be grateful for and not take for granted your health in all senses of the word, no pun intended.

I had an uncle who was blind and he managed to have a pretty good life in spite of it. They had a piano shop and he repaired and tuned them and also traveled with my aunt to do so also. I know one place he would go was Purdue university to tune their pianos and organs, among many others

He was actually a pretty happy and pleasant guy who I was really fond of. So I definitely wouldn't choose death myself

And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire. - Matthew 18:9

This is a very dark and unChristian sentiment.

Even as a hypothetical, life as a blind or deaf person is still a huge gift from God. Being somewhat more dependent on others than you currently are is not the end of a happy and fulfilling life.

Deaf and blind people can still have sex so I choose life until my dick quits working too.

The question isnt blind or deaf, neither of those alone is that bad, but both would make you entirely dependent on others
