This is an interesting one.
We snatched the head man because he refused to honor the results of an election that we backed and said was legitimate. We then installed his underling do-girl, ignoring the rightful and duly elected winner of the recent election, leaving the rest of the illegitimate government in tact. We then used whatever leverage we have, assuming the threat of the same result as the former head man or even death, to force negotiations for the country's resources. All this done with a government that, per our own reasoning, is still 99.9% illegitimate.
I'm not saying I don't support it. It is just......interesting.

I am uneasy about it also - but I have no insight into the matter at all.
From all accounts the 'new' president is OK - was only pretending to support madero.
I am sure we are keeping close attention to the new Pres - I'll have to trust that he is.
