We’ll be fine. Let the idiots bitch and moan. Jay has more than earned the benefit of the doubt and will get this thing fixed.

Exactly. It’s amazing (and embarrassing) that we still have fans around here that don’t understand baseball. Some of these people bitching this week were talking about already getting Omaha reservations the week before. It’s early, we’re replacing a lot of starters and two DUDES on the mound. There will be some growing pains, but they’ll come around, and this will be another solid LSU team.

Agreed. I just don’t think we have the dudes this year. Position has layers, I mean.

The only returning starter from inside the dirt was Milam. That is a ton of turnover. Even through the offseason, those guys have to gel.

It’s just like 2024. When you win a title it means you were experienced, and talented. When you’re experienced and talented it means you’re losing a lot of the roster.

Maybe we DO FRICKING UNDERSTAND BASEBALL, but don't like getting our asses kicked by chicken shite little Junior College type schools in the State of Louisiana that should never be competitive with LSU in ANY sport.

Competitive individuals don't like losing to a lesser "In-State" opponent like this.

It has nothing to do "Understanding Baseball."

I’m sorry LSU didn’t win a game that, ultimately, doesn’t mean jack shite. At the end of the year, LSU will be playing in a super regional and ULL will be watching at home from their couch. It doesn’t fricking matter. It’s a midweek game in March.

Defensively we are definitely fine in fact I think this will end up being one of the worst defensive teams we’ve had in a long time.

I think the bats will eventually come alive and become more consistent and we have great weekend starters on the bump but it’s our defense that has me concerned the most

No doubt Jay Johnson is the best HC in the country....has the recent record to prove it !
Jay admitted he made a mistake in scheduling all those games in the last few weeks.(14 games in 18 days)
I believe in Jay and the overall talent on this 2026 roster.

This proves the point that you don't understand how things work.

Here's a history lesson for ya...

Even the 1997 team, ya know the most powerful college baseball team of ALL TIME who hit 188 homeruns and repeated as national champions...

Even that squad lost midweek games to

UNO (twice)
NLU(now ULM)
USL (now whatever they are calling themselves this week)

So yeah, you need to calm the F down and let the best coach in the business do his job!

You really don't understand. You think ULL is not a good baseball school?
