I need to know how this affects Will Wade before formulating an opinion

Is this part of the normal cycle, or will this be an off cycle replacement?

Off cycle. His term was supposed to end in 2028.

Always. And rarely is it something that he's doing for the benefit of Louisiana's citizens

I assume Landry will turn to that hotbed of world class academics, McNeese State College, for a replacement?

I heard he was very sick. 2nd hand info, so can't fully confirm. But it would make sense.

Dude is senile and hasn’t been active on the BOS for some time. He wasn’t informed at all in the search for the head coach, because 3 days before the news broke about Lane he said we were getting Dan Lanning.

This is all first hand, as I use the same barber and get my haircut next to him every other month or so.

I’m thinking whoever Wade’s closest friend or family member is would be a great addition. No bias here.

He's not aging well. Has shown signs of what most of us fear will afflict us in old age....being robbed of our mind and our body failing us. He's a good man that has helped a lot of kids achieve their dream of a college education.

That sucks.

But he wants to practice law full time?

What kind of time commitment is the BOS?

Probably leaving for health issues. And the statement was to allow him a graceful exit and make it so he and the governor aren’t inundated with questions asking why he was leaving.

A lot of these good ole boys aren't going to understand the meaning of your post.

ESPECIALLY the stupid ones who oppose the possible return of Wade. They're not exactly the brightest bulbs.

He's got a booming law practice that goes on without his day-to-day presence!
