been dealing with it for years. 45 male and in great shape. My muscles in my taint are very tense and pulse/spasm and it feels like im sitting on a golf ball.

Stream is very weak and have to pee all the time. Im in PT now but its only a little better. Im doing yoga stretches and belly breathing. Did biofeedback and it didnt help.

Prostate and bladder were both checked by a urologist and its normal.

it really sucks. I cant sit still

This would be a glorious OT thread.

I have not heard of this. I've heard of weak pelvic floor but not a tense one.

You might need to inject Botox into your spazzy taint to get it to calm down. Give it a try and let us know if it helps

Have you taken any medicine for prostatitis?

I would get your prostate checked.

A lot of times they go hand in hand. Weak pelvic floor/core can drive poor posture which causes many of these muscles to have to overwork constantly, which then causes this issue. Can also come about from stress or holding in bowel/urinary movements too long reguarly, among other reasons.

Do you squat heavy? If so, maybe pause a bit. If not, maybe start

I’m convinced it’s incredibly under diagnosed and unappreciated for men and actually a driver of ED, premature ejaculation, and what many men diagnosed with “prostatitis” are actually dealing with.

Hypertonic PF is more likely to impact fit men, and stress is a big driver too.

I had some testical pain a few years ago that cascaded into classic “prostratitis” symptoms. Urologist said there was no infection and threw meds my way. Since my first symptoms came right after a heavy deadlift session, I did some online research and I started gut smashing and doing PF release work and resolved the issues on my own.

This happened to me. No obvious signs of infection, but they still diagnosed me with prostatitis. The pain was so bad they gave me some opioids and it must’ve helped relax because I was 90% better the next day
