SIAP: LSU Gymnastics leading the nation in attendance.

Despite the "condition of the Pmac", bad nachos etc. And attendance has been great from even before the Natty.
D-D built that program from scratch and Clark has/is taking it next level.
We need a MBB coach that can rebuild support from the fans and boosters, right now gymnastics definitely has more fans and maybe more boosters.
Congrats to the Ladies.

Upgrade the pmac. Make the LSU golf course playable again.

The Gymnastics program is very strong. Great attendance. Great team.
What are they charging for tickets? It seems like they could charge a good price depending on location, etc.

Unnecessary. They have actually brought home a Natty and are ranked # 2.
The Ladies have moved on from moral victories.

That is why I am opposed to the plans to build the new arena as there were indications they want to build a more intimate type setting like Auburn but reduce seating to around 10,000. That is foolish with the way gymnastics and women's basketball pack in huge crowds and so will men's basketball which will eventualy have all things aligned. If the new arena capacity can be 14,000 to 15,000 that would be great.

LSU fans will ALWAYS find a reason to complain. The fact of the matter is, despite anything, LSU fans will show up for a winner. Period.

I’m happy that people go and support this, but this is another sport. I’d rather get kicked in the nuts then go sit and watch.
Not to mention it’s not free.
It’s almost as annoying as women’s tennis when you have somebody that feels the need to yell or moan after every time they hit the ball.

I paid $100 for two seats for the season. I think there’s half a dozen events, but it’s not a bad deal.
They do the same as every other sport - they count paid attendance, not actual. That said, I’d guess the PMAC has been over 50% full for each event. If the facilities, concessions, and parking were better their actual attendance would increase and they’d make more money in sales.

Parking does suck. You have to park on the other side of TS and walk over. It's not horrible on most nights but if it's cold or rainy, I can be a pain. Getting out at the same time a baseball game ends is really a pain in the arse. LSU is literally the only place that can draw 20,000 for a gymnastics and baseball home tilt though. Take the good with the bad.

Most in attendance don’t have nuts, same as WBB.

I’m pretty positive gymnastics and volleyball will still use the PMAC.

Basically get rid of every sport but football and men’s basketball what’s the point ? (Sarcasm)

I'd go, but the scoring just isn't precise enough for my taste.
