the ace has proven 3 weeks in a row he can’t handle the role.

Some of you need to have the reality check that this pitching staff is mid to bottom tier.

Not even the best hitting LSU team ever actually looked like the best hitting team ever all year you know. They struggled at times as well. You can’t base that judgement off of a couple non conference games at the first of the year lol

So he is supposed to throw shut outs every game? The offense hasn’t done crap.

I'm more concerned with the fielding than the pitching at the current moment.

Starting pitching needs to get better and I think they will, but the fielding is becoming a concern, especially at 2nd and 3rd.

I remember my first LSU baseball season, you know players get better and develop as the season goes on right? They all play off potential in the beginning and game experience and playing time shape their development. Have patience grasshopper

I’ll call Jay and tell him. What’s your address? I’m sure he’ll want to send you a thank-you card.

Cmon. We had more errors than hits thru 5. And you start a post about Evans?

I thought he battled tonight. Guys often use nights like this to get right. I would guess he is dominant in his next outing. You act like he gave up 6 runs. I like Evans right where he is for now. Let the season play out.
