Normally I’d argue we have bigger fish to fry, but the current state of college football is so out of control I’m fine with this.

It's billions of dollars a year so it can get somewhere.

I kind of suggested something like this in another thread, but Trump does not need to be involved in the least IMO

If nothing else Trump is pretty good at getting people to a table and having they hammer shite out. I don’t think it’s great that he’s involved but I’d almost rather him who at least has an interest in sports over a ton of congress who don’t have the foggiest idea about business OR sports.

I think this is his way of telling all involved that they need to get their shite together and fix this before the government gets involved.

It went pretty poorly when the PGA Tour and the PIF met with Trump a while back. I would probably say resolving a conflict between two rival tours is easier than fixing college football.
