Maybe so. Maybe not. I won't be outraged if it does or doesn't happen. And I wont be giddy with excitement if it does or doesn't happen.

Basically, who cares?

You seem to care enough to post who cares in almost every women's basketball post. Seems kinda odd.

Show me where ive posted this in EVERY women's basketball post. I bet you couldn't even find one other time. I'll wait.

I want women's basketball to do great. It's just very tough to watch, and I don't care too much about it.

I don’t think her number will be retired . That’s reserved for the greats like Augustus and Flau’jae is a very good player but I would not say she’s great .

Has she won SEC Player of the Year yet?

Because the only 2 women's retired jerseys were worn by recipients of that award.

Someone from the Natty team will have their number retired.

If it’s a choice of Angel or Flaujae, I’d vote Flaujae simply bc I believe she will be a better ambassador for LSU in the future

Has she ever been fiirst team All SEC? Flau’jae is in the Hall of Very Good, but not Elite.

I may have been a bit hyperbolic (a rarity on tRant we at least for hopefully me) there and conflated your post with a few others. I should have paid more attention to whom I was responding. My apologies, baw.

I don't doubt that.

You just have to tell yourself ahead of time that this is what the sport is, like when watching youth sports.

I get that, kind of how I am now with track and field, though I used to love it as a younger man.

Frick no. I hate retiring jersey numbers. It's stupid. Just induct player into the school's sports hall of fame.

That would be like retiring Ricky Blanton's number ahead of Big Baby.

Angel or Aneesah Morrow would be fine. However, the lady who was honored with a long delayed standing ovation from over 13,000 fans on Sunday should have her number hanging in the rafters before any of them.

Joyce Walker also belongs in that group.

It's Joyce Walker and I wonder why we never hear about her.
She is the all time leading scorer, yet hardly anyone knows who
she is. She was in school when I was and is one of the few players
who would thrive in today's game.

I agree that her jersey should be retired

If that is what we’re deciding today, I’ll supply one vote for Flau’jae and one for Ricky.

No. There's no reason for it. She's good, but at no point in her career here has she ever been the undisputed best player on the court.
