True, makes even less sense unless the RINOs don’t really want to fix anything, only to placate the base and fooling them into thinking they do. This is nationalism vs globalism on display. We are still tearing out the roots of the Bush.

I think this act is the kind of thing that could pass as an amendment to the constitution. It's popular enough I think we could get 38 States to pass it. I also think we could add term limits amendment through the states.
Trump has voiced this to the people, and the people can call and jump up and down to their congress people, but the congress people won't pass it. The people are going to have to do it.

It’s always the same 5 or 6 establishment RINOs every time, and they are never in jeopardy of losing their seats. There needs to be a big effort to replace them, but Dem could easily win a couple of those seats. It’s why Turtle screwed the GOP in the GA senate elections.

Or, Thune can do his job and let those six senators know that if they don’t vote yes on SAVE then they will be replaced on every committee they sit on except Committee for Waste Management
