I’m feeling so nostalgic. It feels like Paul Manieri came back and was coaching us again.

Remember those days? When we would lose midweek games and posters would meltdown trying to convince fans that they were watching the end of LSU baseball or that we wasted money on stadium additions that will destroy us now that we lost a game on Wednesday night to La Tech

I miss those days

This isn’t really a meltdown at all. I don’t think people care that much. We did when it was PM because we knew we weren’t winning a championship. With Jay, it’s just a a rough game.

We have some weak fans. Reigning National Champions and unbeaten so far and we lose a game and the idiots crawl out from under rocks to post stupid stuff.

We’ve lost to Nichols, Northwestern, or Mcneese in every championship year since 2000. It literally happens every year lol

This. CPM would have teams that weren’t up to the standard.

With Jay, I know we are the best team in the nation and just applaud McNeese for chasing our midweek starter and making clutch hits. It was an entertaining game, we were 8 feet from a walk off.

Based on what? Top 10, sure. But best in the nation may be a stretch

Yes, it's the right of passage - we get waaaay to hyped of for winning vs. poor and middling teams and then waaaaay to panicked about losing the inevitable midweek game to an in state school.

We have an argument for it, only Mississippi State and Texas have 0 losses in the top 10. They are both ranked behind us and our best games have looked best in the nation caliber. We haven't played anyone great yet but outside of tonight we have looked very good.

We need a good melt. It helps level you up and bring you down to reality.
