I would assume there was actually a jack hughes back then and not just movie quirk.

What in the world would the "something else going on here" even be?
Hilarious coincidence but i'm trying to figure out what the tin foil hat could even be alluding to. The movie knew in 2004 that a 3 year old was going to be the star at the olympics 22 years later?

I'm not even a big hockey guy but that gold medal match was one of the better sports moments I've personally ever watched in my entire life. Got actual chills when he scored the goal.

I can see some tin foil hat moment if there wasn't an actual Jack Hughes cut from the original team. Just a cool coincidence though. It's like they were making two different videos.

Not to discredit Hughes or any of the guys on this year’s gold medal team, but the miracle on ice story was much more inspirational imo. Those guys were all amateurs who never played a second of professional hockey.
