2026 commit that’s a guard 6’2 supposed to be real good and tough he’s from Australia I saw it on X sorry if it’s already been discussed

That honestly might be the move. Just get a bunch of 22+ year old professionals from the NBL

The question is will he play him. We have a guard last name is zipper but he hardly sees playing time. Your 2-13 play everyone.

Looks like CMM coming back next year

Until McMahon is officially fired the staff has to keep recruiting
That said
Exactly. LSU already has a 22 year old "pro" from overseas and NEVER plays him...despite the fact they only have 2 wins in the SEC.

Give MM a $8 mil NIL fund and let him book a 5 star or two. You have to get 1 or 2 of these to finish in the top third of the SEC. Take a look at the Duke roster. They have at least 1 top 5 player. We need one of those. Dale and JB always seemed to have that difference maker. We don't have that guy. Our guys get close sometimes, but can't close out and win. We have 15 moral victories. Go steal Acuff and we will win 20+ games next year.

Will Wade honor his commitment?

Kentucky has (purportedly) a $20M roster. A&M has a considerably less expensive roster with a 1st year HC at his major conf. job. The records:
Kentucky 17-10 (8-6)
A&M 19-8 (9-5)
Auburn went to the Final Four last season. They've been one of the better programs in the SEC for the last ~10 years. This year they are 15-12 (6-8). Is that because their donors suddenly decided, after being a game away from playing for a national championship, that they no longer cared about basketball and weren't going to fund it? Or is it because the HC that led them to all of that success retired in September?
A good coach makes or breaks the program. End.of.story.
MM has at least $8M for the roster this season (or have we gone back to the "he has no money excuse again"?). STOP TRYING TO TREAT THE SYMPTOMS and eliminate the root cause of the problem.

Not a lot out there on him. Did see one article that said he looked and played smaller than he is, but can get hot from 3.

Did he really get 8 mil for this roster?

Thomas alone is a few million dollars. Sutton probably another mil.

No. From what is publicly available, plus some comments from boosters, media, etc., it is likely that this roster costs around $5 million - $2 million for Thomas, $1 million for Miller, then everyone else.
At 22, I can't imagine Owen Foxwell is being offered much for next season.

NIL estimates are like fishing stories. People just through out estimated number and the size always keeps getting bigger with every telling. It is ALL conjecture.
What is publicly available?
A few months ago I had a conversation with a (small amount) donor who was ADAMANT the NIL number for this roster was $10M....even though I argued there is no way that is correct. Nonetheless, the guy was adamant he had knowledge of the conversations between the bigger donors and the number was $10M.
Of course, this was before LSU went into its annual SEC hibernation from winning. So I'm guessing now that number has dropped from $10M (preseason/non-conf) to $10 given LSU is, again, at the bottom of the league.
The reality is LSU's spending is probably in line with the middle of the league. Kentucky, Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Tennessee are likely spending more...but I doubt the gap is as massive as the McMahon apologist want to believe. In any event, Kentucky's "massive" NIL expenditure has them sitting comfortably at 7th in the SEC and in the 7-9 seed range in the NCAA Tournament. Auburn is trying to hang on to a winning record, overall (they have a losing record in SEC play).
I don't know? Maybe coaching matters and simply paying a lot rolling the ball on the court doesn't = great success.
