Over the years who would y'all say most of this board wanted to pick in the 1st round.

I think Tyler Warren was last years and Caleb Downs is this years.

I've seen Bain and Love brought up a lot this year.

Yeah the Brock Bowers hype was through the roof, and he did turn out to be a great slot receiver.

In 2020 a lot of us wanted Jefferson or Queen. No one wanted Ruiz.

Had raiders not taken Bowers one spot ahead of us, we likely take him over Fuaga

I thought it was said that we actually had talks with the Rams about moving down if Bowers was there? Which is crazy lol.

Bowers was one of the safest prospects to come out in a while for me. Never saw a reason why he wouldn’t be an elite player.

Slot receivers have limited value.

It predates this board, but Eddie George over Alex Molden.

When the Saints picked Willie Roaf # 8 overall, I stupidly thought they over reached.

All he did was become an 11-time Pro Bowler.

If you are going for players everyone wanted they actually picked.

Kenny Vacarro, Breese, and Sheldon Rankins are the three that immediately jump to mind.

News started coming out a few days before the draft that Vacarro might be the pick, but Jarvis Jones was the guy everyone wanted.

I remember wanting Derrick Johnson in 2005. We did ok with Jamaal Brown at the 13th pick until his knee wore away

I feel like we never pick who I want but sometimes it works out.

I remember when we traded up for Davenport I was really hoping it was for Derwin James.

I wanted Jonathan Vilma in the 2004 draft but perfectly happy getting Will Smith and then Vilma in a trade.

I think the Malcolm Jenkins pick was the first time I felt that the Saints chose exactly who I wanted in the first.

I was hoping we would have taken a slightly used traffic barrel over Jonathan Sullivan in 2003.

The traffic barrel would have been more helpful on stopping the run.
