Can the executive branch sue the legislature for failure to do work?

Failure to adhere to their platform could very easily be looked at as fraud. No one in the Executive has the balls to go that route, however.
There are other things the Executive could do to essentially neuter Congress. Again, no one has the balls.

The legislative branch doesn’t work for the executive branch. They are coequal branches of government.

Sure let’s just let the president keep suing the government so he can keep taking more taxpayer money for himself.

The judiciary is supposed to be the weakest of the 3, but it has garnered more power than it should.

There definitely needs to be recourse. Imo the President should have every right to go to SCOTUS directly to get things determined quickly. As they are supposed to be each other's equal. Not held up in the lower courts for his things.

It's like the CEO of a company having to go to a first year paralegal to get what he wants started up the ranks of the legal dept. Instead of just being able to walk into the head of legals office and hashing things out. Things move too fast, and deserve quick definitive answers.

Something should be handled in the same way with Congress. Expedite. Though the useless folks there are are just political grandstanders, not politicians.

There are 435 house critters and 100 senate critters.

My vote, while could possibly affect 3 seats, has no bearing on 99.4% of the composition of the legislative branch. And yes, I vote in primaries.

Traditionally it was looked at as such. They were in some backroom in DC.

Accurate analysis of what is happening, but it shouldn’t be — I would argue the legislative branch has an obligation to its role under the constitution.
