I’m working for a friend who is replacing a few old wood stands on his deer property. What is the best insulated fiberglass stand right now?

They’d like a 6’x6’ - Looking for a comfortable stand with a low-pitched stairway and full handrails for the older gents. I need 12 of them. I know $$$

I was looking at Redneck, Boss or Antler Shed. They currently have about 20 Rednecks right now and a few from the Antler Shed. I prefer the ones from the Antler Shed for two people but I want to know if there is anything better.

I know some may pass judgement on this request but these guys are all older and have been successful in life but just can’t access things like they used to. Any feedback is appreciated.

We have a few phantom blinds we love. Dang they pricey though.

Those look nice. I’m sure you can order whatever but do y’all have handrails and a standing platform by the door?

I know some of the handrails are a bit restrictive when trying to get in the stand and I’d like to keep things as easy as possible.

I have a couple ASF blinds on 5 foot stands. They are nice.

I also have a Ranch King I like also.

Well our are not elevated… we’re in an area where a 10-15’ tall tree is tall.

Most of the stands we have now are between 10-15’ high

All of our food plots are cut around 100 yds - meaning that’s the furthest shot you’d have to take with the exception of 2 - 500+ yd plots that are just wide open tracks.

They want something elevated but I think the actual stands the fiberglass units sit on can be customized.

I appreciate the feedback.

Dillon makes nice fiberglass stands. I’ve hunted out of Dillon and redneck and both are very nice.

You can get the ASF in a taller stand but I don’t feel the need. They going to be pricey thought. I have an octagon and a little chingon that are 5x5.
If they want bigger they have a 7x7 big Chingon on a 10 foot tower and may have a 15 foot option.

I’ve got 2 fiberglass Dillon non insulted type blinds in 5x7 and 4x6 that are good for what they are but they have the smaller sliding side sliding windows. I prefer the ASF flip up and slide up windows for more air movement.

Bought two of these a few years ago. I’ve sat in most of the brands you mentioned, none hold a candle to these for how well made they are. Got their metal steps with a landing and handrails for both. One standard and one with the kickout (which at the time was only a couple hundred bucks more. Windows never stick, locking doors, nice shelves inside. To me, these are the gold standard of those I’ve looked at. Ordered swivel office chairs with arms from Wally World and I can sit comfortably for hours. Cut the four by fours, and put them out and up using forks on the tractor. Used mobile home anchors and rachet straps to tie down. Put both out in 5-6 hours including the transit time on the tractor.

We've got 2 Rednecks. We got the stairway system for them because some of the crew are getting up there in years (who am I kidding? So am I). Well worth the additional money. Ours are only 5'. The blinds themselves are great on cold, windy or rainy days.

They are Cadillacs.

if you want a cheaper option, look for used handicapped port o potties with the urinals stripped out. take it to car wash, power wash it, bleach it a few times, then paint it. cut windows as you want them. i have two of these and they're awesome. The octagon shaped ones are the best. you can find them used on facebook marketplace sometimes and sometimes you can find waste companies that are getting rid of older ones.
