This is all the fault of teachers unions and administrators who’s hands are tied by federal funding incentives, which prevents any enforcement of discipline, protecting students from any and all consequences of their actions.

No worse than forcing the 10 commandments into schools.

Abolish teacher's unions.

Did you make an OP of an embed and then do 5 successive replies solely with embeds with 0 commentary whatsoever in any of the 6 posts?
Embeds were a mistake

I don't think it's the funding as much as it's the Americans with Disabilities Act and similar legislation, once the kids are defined as disabled (for the crazy check) and given an IEP.

You may as well say you don't think it's funding as much as it is funding. Crazy money doesn't just go to the kid's family, the school gets a boost as well. Follow the money.

It’s definitely worse, but the 10 Commandments stuff is dumb too.

Three immature school kids. Who’da thunk it…

There is increased funding for these students. It doesn't come close to covering the cost of the programs required to meet nearly every IEP made.
So yes, follow the money, but follow it to where it actually winds up. Take for instance private companies that contract service providers for services required by IEPs. Get an LLC, hire providers, then gouge the schools. Frankly it makes prices during an emergency look paltry.
My district almost breaks even on a Gen Ed student. Average loss per student with an IEP is just under 3k on average. We have just over 30 percent of our enrollment with an IEP. It is a losing proposition. And as a rule, the parents do not give a rat's arse. They want the crazy check!

That doesn't seem realistic or sustainable.
