Well, considering the 3 from those pics who have passed since "The Godfather" came out and them being between mid 30's to early 40's at the time, it's more than understandable since the movie was released in 72----54 years ago now.
Bet if you checked out the entire cast you'd probably find 3/4 or more of them dead by now.
It's kind of sad when we see many of our film heroes grow old and feeble, but it is just part of life.

I did a quick internet search and found that 39 cast members have died over the years between the 3 Godfather movies. This only includes those with dialogue and not people with no lines or just filling in the background.
