Ok? Not ok?

They are probably worried about lawsuits.

Gee, what could possibly be wrong with the federal government controlling what private networks broadcast?

Did you complain when the dems controlled the entirety of social media and its messaging during Covid?

This is one of those unforced errors that I imagine is simply due to thin skin. I'll never understand why this admin continues to give the Left/DEMs more ammo for their "authoritarian/fascist" rhetoric.
Talk shows have been exempted from the Equal Access Act for decades for a reason, and, to make this worse, Colbert isn't exactly a hot property anymore. The Streisand Effect will create exponentially more negativity towards the admin than that stupid interview would have.

Would never watch Colbert anyway so I'm not concerned about this.

Then why don’t you tell us why you think they were censored.
It’s 2 leftist talking about leftist bs. I’m positive most here never saw it or care enough to see it. And for the record, I’ll more than likely consider the censorship as bs regardless of the content

Pretty obvious to me that both the FCC Chairman and the new owners of CBS are scared of James Talarico.

The same people who trashed the Fairness Doctrine back in the 1980s are the same people who now want equal time.

So no specific examples of what was discussed, just your feels?
I’m trying to be consistent on censorship, I just want to know the facts because, quite frankly, I don’t trust you or Decatur with the truth

Ot Steve could simply give equal air time to his opponent.
It’s not hard

Colbert posted the interview on his YouTube channel if you want to watch it. It wasn’t censored based on anything said during the interview.

Jasmine Crockett has appeared on Colbert in each of the last two years.

Let mt try the reverse Uno card. What happens when broadcast networks (ABC, NBC, CBS and Fox), are unchecked.
That includes politicians and candidates, which Colbert and Kimmel have on often and they are mostly from one political party.
Broadcast networks are regulated by the FCC and if you don't see this as an issue, you might very well be a Democrat.

Is it possible for me to get an explanation for why this thread has been anchored?
This is a good faith attempt at discussion. No site rules are being violated.

That graphic says it all, but lefties like Decatur and sfp will never acknowledge how corrupt the corporate media is. And only a complete idiot can't see how Colbert and Kimmel (and Stewart & The View) are really being used.

Much like AOC and Kamalamadingdong, SlowF*ckingPinhead is too f*cking stupid to realize how truly f*cking stupid he is.
