I heard on the local news in KCMO that a company from the Netherlands just bought a 400 acre tract of land for a data/server farm in Independence MO. The people in Independence are already gearing up to fight the project.

I make my money designing data centers but I really hope this stuff stops soon. The data center growth is nowhere near sustainable and there needs to be more regulation on their water usage.

We have multiple offers for different pieces land to develop either data centers or some kind of generation to support them. It’s crazy what they’re offering.

She was already attractive, they didn't have to do that at the end.

The companies in bed with OpenAI and backstopped by Nvidia are going to get burned. At the end of the day, I wouldn't be surprised if Nvidia ends up buying OpenAI and some of the other companies who have incestuous cash flows with them. Microsoft may end up with a share of OpenAI given the previous arrangements with them and Copilot.

Google will probably come out of the AI space in the soundest financial condition with their strong operating cash flows outside of AI.

Anthropic will be interesting to watch. Not as familiar with their financials.

Exploring 100 year bonds doesn't make me feel good, though. We'll see.

Methinks you missed the point. That wasn’t just gratuitous.

Boomers already led us on the path of moving jobs overseas, importing vast amount of non-european immigrants, and has the population confused about what a woman is. Honestly bring on the robots. They'll probably have more logic than leftists.

And you will subsidize the cost of the energy they supply to the center. We have a couple going in with Entergy Mississippi too.

It's never cheap, but it's no excuse to not be stockpiling anyway.
