Why would they trade him? Seems like a major red flag

Maybe, maybe not... Could be that they feel he's injury prone, that he's not a number one and don't want to pay him a second contract, who knows?

It's really a matter of fit.

He did much better before they hired Coen.

He's a good fit for what we need at the position and he's very young. Still has 2026 and 2027 on his contract, along with the option for 2028

If the price isnt too steep, this could make sense and it'd free up the first 2 picks in the draft to go with other positions

Ya'll gotta stop linking "NFL rumors". Their stuff is either totally made up or wild guesses. Notorious click bait for suckers. Garbage follow, I muted them a long time ago.

It's cute you think he goes for less than a 2nd. Or is there some old player we have they are in love with lol

Still have 3 years left on rookie deal. It’s more that the Jags are already loaded with a very high pick in Hunter, a very good vet in Jakoby, and a seeming absolute STUD in Parker Washington. Add in a good young TE end in strange.

Some of those guys seem to fit the offense and what Lawrence likes to do more than BTJ. Although they are now reporting that Hunter will shift to a starting corner spot with less offensive involvement.

Given they gave up so much for Hunter it makes sense to get max return for BTJ to offset it.

It will 1000% be a first or a second plus more.

The price would likely be too steep and this draft seems to be pretty deep at WR

Huge lsu fan but something is wrong with Thomas. It wasnt just the injury this year, dude looked like he hated the offense

He put up top ten numbers last year. I wanted him last year if we coulda dropped down a few spots in the first and got extra picks.

Really curious what they would want in compensation. I’m sure at least a second and some change. I’d think very hard about it.

They aren’t getting a first or second round pick for a guy that just had 700 yards and seemed off this year.

I’d prefer Chris Bell if they want that much. If legit smoke, I think there has to be something behind the scenes we don’t know for them to give up on a 1st round WR after 2 years

There were rumors during the draft he’s kinda of an off guy. Very quiet, I guess similar to Colston in a way. Questions if he loves the game.

Maybe he didn’t vibe with the new coaching staff. But everyone saw the talent the rookie year. He’s a perfect fit to pair with Olave. I think he’ll be fine playing back home and close to family.

I’m sure they want a 2nd. Not sure if they get it. Maybe a third this year and third next year. I’d be very interested. You control him the next three years and I think he’s a good fit.

Thomas and a 5th for Saints 2nd this year.

Would speed up the timeline of competing for the division to this year.

Draft Delane with puck 8 and be set with all key positions out side of an elite young DE/DT

Gotta admit I don’t know anything about him, I’d have to watch some interviews to get a feel for him.

There is the quiet professional type like Colton, but you could also have a quiet content guy who might not be that motivated. Just wants to go home and watch anime or play video games type

its not a secret that Thomas was in the doghouse last year.

Probably also not coincidental they were +9 in wins and his usage went down.
