Little early to make statements like that but we do have a loaded stable.

Are you trying to injure our pitchers with this jinx post?

Definitely happy for Fontenot
I think he could be a game changer this year

Maybe the most diverse staff we've had under Jay. We've had stretches without many lefties, or many effective lefties. We have a stable of different lefties now, plus some diverse right handed arms. Inevitably, some will thrive, some will peeter along, and others will fall back. The staff is very balanced with R/L, power/soft, different arm angles/looks, etc. Yeskie will earn his pay again figuring out how to manage and sequence them.

Tickled to death to see Guidry come back and look as sharp as he did

Not even close. Don’t have near the top end talent we have had in the past I can’t think of a single dominant first round arm on the roster. Respectfully

And you were able to determine that by watching us pitch 17 innings in February??

That's damn impressive!!

Remains to be seen, but i get where you're coming from. The pitching staff appears to be deep but lacks a clear major league ace. That can change though.

If you think anyone on this roster is skenes Nola, Anderson, Coleman, Lange, Gausman etc. type talent you are delusional we have had many staffs way more talented

That is 2 different things. It isn't as top heavy as the top major leaguers but it will probably wind up being the deepest staff. Hell I remember not too long ago wishing for anyone to simply throw a strike.

Well we have not exactly over powered Milwaukee in two games.

We have a lot of pitcher s. But can they get people out in the SEC is the question.

I legitimately think I’m going to enjoy hating many of you fricktards this year. And the bad thing is that I can’t even prove you wrong. But after two games of 17+ strikeouts to start the year you’re saying we don’t have top end talent. For fricks sake man.

I’m old enough to remember us bitching about our pen in 2023 up until the CWS when they blew up. Nate fricking Yesky.

We go through this every year. Staff looks great early. At some point it gets shaky and everyone melts.

We round into form over the season and in good years are deep enough to get to Omaha.
