I’ve yet to see anyone effectively articulate why assuring only American citizens vote in elections is bad for the country

I bought snap pops last year at walmart for like a dollar... was ID'd because "fireworks".

Once they started the ID's for purchases I began using shopping services.

Those were handed out to us Gen X kids like candy along with cap guns, Black Cats, bottle rockets, and Roman candles.

And candy cigarettes.

Can relate, I had to show an ID to purchase canned air for cleaning my laptop.

If I walk in a convivence store (or any other "store") to purchase beer, liquor, etc. and they say they need to scan my license, I say no thanks and return the item to where I got it. If you want to see my license to fulfill verifying my age, no problem, but there is no need scan it.

You probably got a D at the counter and the ID is for recording purposes with the state. Their restrictions to how many boxes of a D congested med you can buy…..or you were ID’d bc you purchased a control medication and they requested ID to make sure it was you. Normal protocols

Virginia has this law (loosely enforced). I give them my military ID, which doesn't scan and have them manually type my DOB. I also use places that know me and don't even ask.

When I was younger I was id’d more times than I count to get into a tit bar. Using the Democrat thinking you can do something as important as voting without a id. If you go watch a chick shake her tits and arse then we need id for that. Makes perfect sense lol!!

Here’s why. You’ll argue of course but this is why it could be bad:
Millions of Americans don’t have easy access to these documents: older voters, rural residents, low-income citizens, and married women (name changes) are affected.
Replacing documents can cost money and take weeks or months.
Are you for more federal oversight? This is what it will do.
I know ppl are for it but it will likely affect tge voting process negatively.
Not for ppl like you or me but for others.

Though I get your point, the wally world attendant dude just tapped his code in my kiosk when it required my id check. Didn't even say a word to me. Though I was surprised it was required for a pack of day/nitequil. That was a first.
So essentially what the Dems will be doing anyway.

They will tell you it's because voting is in the constitution and buying cold medicine isnt. Not saying they are right, thats just what I have heard them say.

Define "don't have access".
Is it a chore to get your shite straight? Yes. But you really only have to do it once... every adult has either done it or been too disinterested.
If a person is too disinterested to have their ducks in a row, that's on them.

You can go to the Clerk of Courts office and get a copy of your birth certificate right then for $15. You can also do it online or by mail but yes it does take a couple weeks to receive. You can also go to the Louisiana Dept of Health and get a copy. It’s not that difficult. It’s not that expensive. It doesn’t take that long.
I guarantee you all those older voters, rural residents, low-income citizens, and married women have gone at some point and signed up for cell phone service which I know for a fact is a more time consuming, expensive chore than getting a copy of a birth certificate. How many of those low income citizens managed to get to the welfare to sign up for food stamps. Rural resident don’t ever go to town for anything?
It’s all just excuses.

you could probably start a Tik Tok "chew on a snap pop" challenge and Gen Z will blow their lips off trying to do it.
